Did you know that Paul Mengert, AMG CEO, purposely locate AMG (Association Management Group) in the Greater Greensboro area as a way of supporting the community he grew up in and to which he feels he owes everything? That’s a good reason, really. Thankfully, that decision has worked out for everyone. Paul has certainly become a highly regarded leader in the homeowners association management industry in the Carolinas and nationwide, but he has also triggered significant interest in the Greensboro area from companies all over the country.
Education is very obviously a priority for Paul Mengert and AMG. After all, it’s at the core of AMG’s business model, and if you look at his own background, education was always important. He began his undergraduate studies as a Political Science and Communications major at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and followed that up in 1990 with a certification as a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). He also went on to Harvard Business School, graduating in 2005. He has also served on the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute.
